Police are looking into whether a love triangle may have led to a deadly shootout in Riverside.

Tuesday evening, police were called to a gated community on Trailway Drive. Investigators say a man identified as Virgil Millon shot and killed two people, Arabella Bradford and Malvin Conley. Millon was Bradford’s ex-boyfriend. Conley was the current boyfriend.

The arriving officer shot Millon when he allegedly refused to drop his gun. Millon was pronounced dead at a hospital.

One day before the shooting, Bradford served Millon with court papers stating she planned to pursue a permanent restraining order.

All three people involved had worked in law enforcement. Bradford was a parole agent. Millon and Conley were corrections officers.
