San Diego police officers responded to the report of a child bitten by a dog in Keiller Park Wednesday evening.
One child with bite wounds was treated by emergency personnel on Lisbon Street near Jamacha Road around 6:15 p.m.
Witnesses described the dog as a pit bull running loose and attacking children officers told NBC 7 News.
Animal control officers have been called to the scene.
