Dog Attacks Baby in Chula Vista

A dog attacked a 1-year-old Friday afternoon in Chula Vista.
The baby was taken to the hospital and Animal Control euthanized the dog, which a family member says was a pitbull.
The pit bull was 1 of 5 dogs that lived in the house with the baby. A family member said the dog was “stupid and aggresive."
This is the third reported pit bull attack in San Diego this week. On June 20, a 75-year-old woman was mauled by 2 pit bulls.
Friday morning, a woman walking her dog in Grant Hill was attacked by a pit bull and a boxer. The woman’s dog was injured and the boxer and pit bull were impounded by animal services and placed into quarantine.
