Detectives were called out to Vista Magnet Middle School Wednesday to investigate reports of a human fetus there.
Callers said they found what appears to be a human fetus at the school, located at 151 Civic Center Drive, just before 7 p.m.
However, about an hour later, San Diego County Sheriff's Department confirmed what people found was not a human fetus.
They have not said what exactly was found.
