The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a dense fog advisory for the San Diego area that will be in effect until Sunday morning.
According to the NWS, the dense fog advisory will effect coastal areas from now until 9 a.m. Sunday.
NWS cautioned drivers to be on alert, as visibility could drop below one-quarter mile at certain times. Interstates 805 and 8 and State Routes 52 and 78 were noted as areas where visibility may be an issue.
The NWS issued the dense fog advisory ahead of a red flag warning that's set to go into effect Monday.
