Traffic began to slow Thursday afternoon as debris blocked all five lanes on the southbound Interstate 15 near the 163.

The lanes between SR-163 and Miramar Rd. were blocked with "heavy debris" just before 1 p.m., according the California Highway Patrol's Sigalert.
