A very nice day today - mostly sunny and warmer with highs up around 70 in the valleys and mid 60s at the coast. The exception is east of the mountains where we're seeing light showers this morning. A few spots have also seen some hail. No threat of any of this moisture making it to the west side of the mountains.
Marine layer back tonight with some low clouds and patchy fog. Afternoon temps will cool about 3-5 degrees across the board as the onshore flow increases. This will be a one day event because the flow goes offshore on Saturday as a Santa Ana builds. It will be a warm - 70s to about 80 - weekend, very dry and very windy.
