A man in Encinitas was seriously injured Wednesday after a car hit him on his bicycle.
Todd Caullkin, 40, turned left into oncoming traffic on Encinitas Blvd. at about 12:45 Wednesday afternoon, San Diego Sheriffs said.
Caullkin suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital by helicopter. Word on his condition is not known at this time.
Encinitas Station traffic investigators are still looking into the incident and no further details are available.
