A vibrant cultural celebration featuring music, dance, games and food is underway Saturday on the campus of Thurgood Marshall College at the University of California at San Diego.

“A World Worth Celebrating” will have continuous entertainment from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., including Baile Folklorico, Bollywood fusion dance and Hawaiian dance.

There will also be an art exhibition from local community members, high school students, and students and faculty from UCSD. Attendees will also be able to contribute to a communal mural.

For children, there will be a bounce house, an arts and crafts table and face painting.

The entire event and parking is free to the public.
