Two people escaped after their car caught fire inside their garage Friday according to the Escondido Fire Department.
The fire started around 7:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Mandeville Place in Escondido.
Fire crews said the two people parked their car inside the garage when suddenly flames started to come out of the car and spread to the garage.
Most of the fire was contained to the garage, but a small portion of the home was damaged.
No injuries have been reported.
