A car fire spread to another vehicle in the City Heights neighborhood of San Diego early Monday.
San Diego Fire-Rescue crews responded to an alley on Highland Avenue near Redwood Street just before 2 a.m.
Firefighters found a Mercury sedan on fire.
Crews immediately worked to extinguish the fire but say a nearby vehicle was also damaged.
Officials say they will return Monday to investigate the cause of the fire.
