When an Oceanside woman didn’t show up for work, her co-workers called police. Officers discovered the woman and her husband dead inside their home and right now it appears they died in a murder-suicide.
The married couple in their 60s lived in the home in the 2400 block of Fire Mountain Drive for about a decade, according to neighbors.
The woman volunteered at consignment stores in Carlsbad and Solana Beach.
Investigators say evidence at the scene suggests one person may have killed the other before committing suicide.
