Cop's Ammo Bag Found on Street Corner

Someone called police early Tuesday reporting the discovery of a bag of ammunition and other gear from the San Diego Police Department.

Inside the bag found near 49th Street and University Avenue was police ammo, a flashlight and a camera officials said.

Officers took the gear and investigated the source of the collection.

Apparently, a police officers personal vehicle was stolen along with the bag of gear stored in the car.

So investigators are considering the ammo and other gear recovered stolen property.
