Comic-Con to Hold Online Registration on Feb. 21

Organizers of Comic-Con — a $136 million economic force in the community and a summer staple at the San Diego Convention Center — plan to hold online registration on Saturday, Feb. 21.

The ticket window seems to open and shut faster than the reaction time of most superheroes.

Online registration begins shortly after 9 a.m. Pacific Time on Saturday, but for those who’ve never done it, the time to go on the Internet is now. To be eligible to register, a person must get a member ID through the organizers’ EPIC registration system. And they must have a registration code.

Organizers said they will send a link to the EPIC registration landing page at least 24 hours prior to the start of the sale. Potential attendees must be in the “waiting room” between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Saturday; doors shut at the stroke of 9.

Comic-Con 2015 runs July 9-12. Adult badges cost $50 per day. There are discounts for juniors (ages 13-17), seniors and military members.

Preview night is July 8 and costs $35.
