Baby, It's Cold Outside

Temperatures plummeted in San Diego County overnight

If you think it’s colder than normal for this time of year, you’re right.

“Overnight temperatures plummeted, as expected, with some areas falling into the low 30s, even along the coast,” said meteorologist Jodi Kodesh.

Don’t let the blue skies and sunshine fool you. Temperatures were running a little below normal in the low 60s on Tuesday.

A wind advisory was also issued for the mountains and inland valleys until 4 p.m.

“We've seen gusts to 45 mph in places like Descanso. This is dangerous for drivers, so use caution if you're traveling on east county roadways,” said Kodesh.

Temperatures will slowly get warmer this week.
