Several car owners suffered damage to their vehicles after a traffic stop turned into a police chase.

San Diego police officers attempted to pull over a car with two men inside near Fairmont Avenue and Home Avenue in City Heights around 9 p.m. Monday.

As officers approached the car, they say the driver sped off.

Officers caught up to the car in the 2400-block of Sumac Drive.

By that time at least six cars were hit by the drivers.

They caught one suspect. The other man is still on the loose.
