The number (619-570-1070) was given out during the EOC alert soley to provide an immediate help line to those in need during the emergency, said Rachel Lang, an official with Mayor Jerry Sander's office.

No new number was planned as of 3 p.m. Friday and residents should check the city's website for updates, Lang added.
