A bicyclist was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a bus downtown Thursday afternoon.
The MTS bus hit the cyclist on 11th Ave. and C St. downtown at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The cyclist is believed to be a male in his late 20's. He was transported to Mercy Hospital.
The bus was blocking the trolley tracks as police investigated the accident. Officers were providing traffic control.
Police said the victim has minor injuries.
