Child Reports Attempted Kidnapping

San Diego police are investigating the report of a child walking to school approached by a couple in a car.
The 11-year old boy was walking in the area of Division and 61st in Encanto just after 8 a.m. Wednesday.
He told police that he was approached by a man and a woman who tried to coax him into the vehicle.
The boy didn't go with the couple and continued to school.
