Child Falls From Window

A Scripps Ranch child fell from a two-story window, according to officials.

Police received a call that a 5-year-old boy fell from a window at 11470 Pochard Way around 4:30 p.m.

Medics transported the boy to a nearby hospital. He was conscious and breathing, but had an injury to their arm.

Officials said he was playing near a second story window when he fell out and broke his left arm.

The situation appears to be an accident, according to authorities.
