Charter School Operator Buys a Poway Property for $2.35M

Charter school operator Element Education Inc. of Escondido has purchased a commercial daycare center building in Poway for $2.35 million, according to brokerage company Pacific Coast Commercial, which represented the buyer.

The seller of the 7,680-square-foot building, on a 1.35-acre lot at 12370 Adobe Ridge Road, was the Fred & June MacMurray Foundation of Hollywood. Element Education will occupy the building, currently occupied by KinderCare Learning Centers.

Pacific Coast’s Tommas Golia and Marc Karren represented the buyer, and the seller represented itself. The recorded selling entity is a non-profit foundation named for the late actors Fred MacMurray and his wife, June Haver.

Element Education operates Dehesa Charter School and Community Montessori Charter School, both in Escondido, according to its website.
