Rex Ryan to Chargers: “Stay Classy”

Randy McMichael's post-game comments led Rex Ryan to tell the Chargers to "stay classy"

Randy McMichael's postgame comments continued to resonate 24 hours after the San Diego Chargers blew an 11-point halftime lead and lost 27-21 to the New York Jets.

McMichael said following the game that the Chargers beat themselves and "it had nothing to do with anyone on their team."

Jets coach Rex Ryan responded by saying, "Stay classy, San Diego," a line made famous by Will Ferrell's character, Ron Burgundy, in the movie "Anchorman."

Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers, who was intercepted twice in the fourth quarter and watched a two-minute drill implode, says McMichael hates to lose.

Rivers also says that while the Chargers feel like they let the game slip away, "The Jets had something to do with causing it to get away from us, certainly."
