Chargers Helping Feed San Diego

Team Is Collecting Food At Next Home Game

The Chargers next home game comes on November 1, the day after Halloween, and we will officially be in the unofficial Holiday Season.

So, it's time to start giving.

The Chargers are collecting food during their next home game, Thursday night against the Kansas City Chiefs, to help San Diegans in need during the holiday season.

Red bins will be placed at all Qualcomm Stadium entrances. Fans are encouraged to bring canned meats, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta, soups and cereal.

The food collected will help families in economic distress and help reinforce the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank’s food supply.

Stadium parking lot gates open at 1 p.m., entrance gates open at 3:30 p.m. The fan who brings in the most food will receive a very special 50th Anniversary team signed football.

If you can't come to the game, you can still help by donating items in red bins located in supermarkets throughout the county.
