Two bank robbery suspects are in custody after leading officers on a chase across San Diego County on Thursday.

The end of the chase in Lemon Grove was caught on tape, and a suspect can be seen with the prongs of a Taser lodged in his head.

The bank robbers walked into the U.S Bank on West Bernardo Drive with a demand note, then fled in a Jeep Cherokee, police said. Law enforcement caught up with the car on state Route 163 south. The police then chased the suspects down Interstate 15 and onto Interstate 8.

Witnesses in Lemon Grove saw the pursuit come to an end.

"I was waiting for the bus, and I saw this white Jeep go by, speeding everywhere, then I heard the police, and there was, like, seven cars right behind it, and then it came by the smoke shop by Lemon Grove trolley, and they stopped and they jumped out, and they ran, and I guess they caught both the guys," Mariah Speaks said.

Officers used a spike strip to disable to the getaway car.
