Police are searching for the driver responsible for striking and injuring a bicyclist in a hit-and-run collision in Carlsbad Thursday night.
According to the Carlsbad Police Department, the cyclist was hit just after 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of El Fuerte and Chorlito streets.
The victim was transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla with unspecified injuries.
The hit-and-run incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information should contact the Carlsbad Police Department at (760) 931-2197.
