A Bay Ho woman got a nasty surprise Monday when a car came flying through a wall in her home, San Diego Police said.
The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. at a house near Massasoit and Hidalgo avenues.
Police say a woman was sitting on her couch when the car came into her living room.
Paramedics were called to treat minor injuries to the woman's leg, and San Diego Fire-Rescue crews requested a structural engineer to evaluate the damage to the building.
Investigators do not know at this point if alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash. Police will continue the investigation.
