Car Overturns After Smashing into Hydrant

A woman was injured Monday night after crashing into a fire hydrant in Miramar, according to the San Diego Fire Department.
The car hit the hydrant in the 9300 block of Activity Road at about 7:30 p.m. Monday and overturned from the impact of the crash.
Medics responded to treat the woman.
The water department was called to the scene to shut off the hydrant water. SDG&E was also requested when water reached some electrical lines.
