Fire crews rushed to Lakeside Saturday after a brush fire sparked in the 13000 block of Mapleview Street and Lake Jennings Park Road.
Officials say the fire sparked just after 3:30 p.m.
California Highway Patrol officials evacuated residents in the neighborhood as a precaution while frefighters battled the blaze. CHP officials also closed some surrounding roads in the area.
Fire crews aggressively tackled the fire and were able to knock it down. No injuries were reported.
