A vegetation fire has swept up on the east side of Chollas Lake, according to San Diego fire officials.
The fire started around 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the 6300 block of College Grove Drive. A helicopter came in with water drops, helping contain the blaze by 6 p.m.
Someone called officials saying they saw people running from the fire, but police are not actively looking for suspects.
