Bomb Threat Hoax At North County High School

Vista teen arrested.

A startling start to the second week of school at Vista High School. On Monday, a 15-year-old ninth grade student was arrested on suspicion of making bogus bomb threats.

Authorities say several calls to 911 were traced to a pay phone on school grounds.

A deputy assigned to Vista High found a boy on campus that he'd seen at those pay phones and questioned him. After the boy admitted to the hoax, the call for all deputies on duty to head to the school was called off.

The student could face a felony false reporte of a bomb charge.
