Authorities discovered the body of a possible gunshot victim beneath an Interstate 5 walk over the bridge in San Ysidro, near the U.S.-Mexico border.
The body was discovered at Calle Primera, near the Motel 6, at approximately 5:30 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol (CHP) officials.
The individual appeared to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
