Person of Interest Sought in San Diego Highway Shootings

The California Highway Patrol is looking for a person of interest in a series of highway shootings that injured one driver and shut down large sections of two interstates Monday. Kelly McPherson reports.

Three women were trapped on the cliffs above Black's Beach on Monday night, according San Diego Fire Department.

At about 10:45 p.m., SDFD responded to a call of three women struck on the cliffs near the Torrey Pines Glider Port. Lifeguards assisted at the scene and a helicopter was used to locate and rescue the victims around 11:30 p.m.

One woman broke her right ankle, the other victims were unharmed.

It is unknown why the victims were out so late, according to San Diego Lifeguard Services.
