Blackout Lifted for Sunday's Game

Chargers will play Vikings despite low ticket sales

It was a close call, but the Chargers game will be televised this Sunday.

The game saw lower-than-normal ticket sales for their season-opening game at 1:15 p.m. As a result, the NFL threatened to not broadcast the game on television or over radio.

The Chargers sold enough tickets to avoid a blackout.

Fans can hear the radio broadcast on KIOZ Rock 105.3 FM and XTRA Sports 1360 AM in San Diego and KLAC 570 AM in Los Angeles. Josh Lewin and Hank Bauer will announce the game from the booth and Mike Costas will report from the sidelines.
