An overturned semi-truck northbound Interstate 15 in Temecula slowed traffic coming out of San Diego County Tuesday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) confirmed.
The incident occurred at 3:08 p.m. on the northbound Interstate 15, between Temecula Parkway and Santiago Road.
According to CHP, the rain caused a tree to uproot and fall into the traffic lanes, blocking vehicles.
A big-rig also overturned in the same area.
All lanes of the freeway were closed for some time, causing traffic to back up into San Diego County.
No other information was available.
