Police are searching for a driver who fled the scene after hitting a bicyclist in University Heights Wednesday night.
Police said the collision happened around 8:45 p.m. at Texas Street and Meade Ave.
A car hit a bicyclist and then took off.
The cyclist was transported to Mercy Hospital with minor injuries, according to medics. He was conscious and breathing.
Traffic was diverted at the intersection while authorities investigated the scene.
Police said they have not caught the hit-and-run driver yet and, for now, have no description of the vehicle.
