Black Friday shopping started early for a suspected thief at Best Buy Tuesday night.
The suspect stole several laptops at the La Mesa Best Buy on Fletcher Parkway at about 7 p.m.
Police say the man was armed with a gun as he entered the electronics store. He was last seen headed toward I-8 in a red 90s Pontiac Firebird.
Best Buy employees estimated that the man stole two laptops, but robbery detectives are still investigating.
