Arrest Made in Oceanside Teens' Deaths

    Oceanside police have arrested a man they say is connected to the shooting deaths of  two teenagers in Libby Lake Park last month.

    The bodies of Fernando Felix Solano, 16, and Sandra Salgado, 14, were found around 10:30 p.m. on May 3 in the northeast area of the park located north of the San Luis Rey River and east of Douglas Drive.

    Officers arrested Al'c Berjaran, 19, a documented gang member in connection with the case.

    Berjaran was in Donovan Prison being held on a parole violation when he was booked for the double-murder Thursday investigators said.

    One victim's sister said there needs to be more police presence at the park.

    Two other men have been arrested in connection with the murders. Their names have not been released by investigators.
