An armored truck hit a man walking in San Diego's East Village Monday morning.
Medics were called to the scene on 16th St. and National St. after the collision, according to police.
The man was conscious and breathing, but bleeding from his head. He was transported to the hospital in an ambulance.
The driver of the truck remained on the scene while police officers investigated the collision.
