2-Alarm Fire Consumes Chula Vista Apartment

Firefighters responded Wednesday afternoon to a two-story apartment fire in Chula Vista.
The second alarm fire started at about 1:30 p.m. in Chula Vista, on the 200 block of H St., Chula Vista fire authorities said.
Smoke was visible from a distance.
A 102-year-old man was rescued from the fire, according to officials. He was not injured.
By 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, crews knocked down the fire.
