Men Accused in 30+ Burglaries Across San Diego County

According to authorities, the countywide crime spree has totaled more than $130,000 in losses to local businesses

Two men were arrested Thursday in connection with a series of more than 30 burglaries targeting businesses across the county, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said.

Andrew Myers and Adam Nuno, both 34, were arrested in unincorporated Spring Valley and Lakeside. The sheriff’s department said, in all, the countywide crime spree has totaled more than $130,000 in losses for the businesses that were hit.

Deputies tracked down the suspects after a commercial burglary in Rancho San Diego. While arresting Myers and Nuno, deputies found evidence from that latest burglary.

Also during the arrests, the sheriff’s department said deputies found an illegal marijuana growing operation and a butane honey oil extraction lab.

In addition to the burglary charges, the men were charged with manufacturing of a controlled substance and possession for sales of marijuana.

Jail booking records show Nuno’s bail was set at $475,000, while Myers’ bail was set at $550,500. Both suspects are scheduled to appear in court Monday.

Further details about the businesses targeted in the burglary series were not immediately released by the sheriff’s department.
