Alcohol Led to Drowning

AP

A 22-year-old man drowned in Lake Como Saturday.

A woman, whose body was found floating in Mission Bay Wednesday, died after an evening of drinking with friends, according to the San Diego County medical examiner's report.

Geannine Tunison, 51, was drinking with some friends aboard her boat at Driscoll Mission Bay Marina on Sept. 15 when she stepped outside the boat.

Friends went to look for her and found Tunison floating in the marina.

Despite 911 and CPR efforts, Tunison's family decided to withdraw medical efforts to keep her alive on Sunday.
