If you thought you wouldn't be able to afford a flight home this holiday season, you may want to check again.
Southwest Airlines launched a three-day winter-fare sale on Tuesday. Ticket prices have been cut by up to 33 percent.
A round-trip ticket from San Diego to Dallas during the holiday season is around $200.
Industry experts say the falling oil prices will help lower ticket prices.
