Adults, Child Injured in High-Speed Crash

CHP officials said the accident occurred on northbound I-805, near northbound I-15

Three people, including a child, suffered major trauma following a high-speed collision on northbound I-805 near northbound I-15 on Thursday afternoon.

CHP officials said the crash happened around 1:48 p.m.

A vehicle travelling northbound on the 805 rear-ended another car at high speeds. A third car also became involved as a result of the collision, according to investigators.

The accident caused traffic delays up to Market Street.

CHP officials said two adults involved in the collision were taken to hospitals with major injuries. A child passenger was transported to Rady Children’s Hospital.

No information has been released on the current condition of the victims involved in the crash.
