Officers interviewed a woman inside the store following the armed robbery Wednesday night.
San Diego police are investigating an armed robbery at a Kearny Mesa adult video store that left one customer injured.
Two suspects dressed in black hoodies and masks burst in through the back door at The Adult Emporium on Convoy Street around 9:40 p.m. Wednesday.
There were three people in the store at the time – one employee and two customers.
After beating up one of the customers, the suspects used a gun on the cashier while holding another customer at knifepoint.
“He was pushed to the ground and he was kicked while he was on the ground,” SDPD Lt. Mark Bennett said of the injured customer.
Medics looked at him but the man did not require transport to a nearby hospital according to Bennett.
The men took a purse, took some money from the store and took off out the back door.
They were seen leaving in smaller silver four door sedan.
