RadioShack announced it will close nearly 1,800 stores including nine locations in San Diego County, according to a published report.

The San Diego Business Journal reports that stores on Carmel Mountain Road, Bernardo Center Drive and Murphy Canyon Road were included on the list released by the Texas-based company earlier this week.

There are two others in La Jolla that will close, one in Chula Vista, one in National City and the stores in the Grossmont Center and Santee Trolley Square, according to SDBJ.
