Woman Jumps Into Freeway Traffic
A woman died after jumping off an overpass above I-805

A woman jumped off an overpass above southbound Interstate 805 on Friday afternoon, according to officials.
The woman jumped off the Balboa Avenue bridge just before 1 p.m. and was hit by a Toyota Prius when she landed on the freeway.
Officials confirmed the woman died from the incident.
The driver of the Prius, a resident of Los Angeles, was uninjured.
Traffic was reduced to one lane for roughly 90 minutes while investigators examined the area. All lanes were reopened just before 3:30 p.m.
