4 Suspects Arrested in 9 Burglary Series

San Diego police arrested four suspects in a series of burglaries that happened as the victims were inside their homes.

The group is responsible for at least nine burglaries, mostly in Scripps Ranch, which started on Sept. 27, investigators say.

With the help of community members, SDPD detectives developed several leads. They led police to recover stolen property and arrest four people: Keith Lashaun Thomas, 19; Antonio Kresic, 21; and two juveniles, whose identities are being withheld.

Police said all the cases have a similar modus operandi, so they were able to tie the suspects to each crime scene.

The men were booked into county jail on multiple counts of residential burglary, and the minors were booked into Juvenile Hall on the same charges.

Police are telling victims of the series to identify their stolen property at the Northeastern Division, 13396 Salmon Road, on Oct. 14 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. They will have to bring a personal ID and any paperwork that could help identify their items.
