2 Pursuits, 2 Crashes Overnight

Separate incidents first in Kensington, then about an hour later in Mira Mesa

San Diego police officers were involved in two police pursuits that ended in crashes and arrests overnight.

Officers spotted a stolen Acura Integra at Camino Ruiz and Santa Arminta Avenue in Mira Mesa around midnight and tried to pull the driver over. The driver wouldn’t stop but instead he took off, speeding through area neighborhoods according to police.

The driver eventually crashed into several parked cars, got out of the car and took off running officials said.

He's now under arrest facing several charges -- including felony evading and auto theft.

Just before that, officers spotted a car without headlines traveling in Kensington around 11 p.m. Sunday.

The woman behind the wheel refused to stop officials said.

She lost control of the car and crashed at Monroe and Aldine where officers took the woman in custody.
