2 People Rescued Off-Shore in Point Loma

Two people are happy to be back on solid ground, after their 14-foot powerboat started taking on water around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The pair was quickly rescued by lifeguards and the US Coast Guard, when their boat took on one-foot of water just north of the Point Loma Lighthouse about 50-feet away from shore.
No injuries were reported during the rescue.
