A man and woman were hospitalized and part of a busy road was shut down in Coronado after a motorcycle accident Monday night, Coronado Police confirmed.
The crash happened around 6:53 p.m. on the 7400 block of Silver Strand Boulevard.
Police say it was a single motorcycle accident with two passengers. The woman suffered serious injuries but was conscious.
Both were taken to the hospital.
It's unclear who was driving at the time of the crash.
Police say it is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash. But they believe the driver was going too fast and may have lost control.
No other information was immediately available.
